One of the hardest things about being a Property Manager in Utah is Finding Tenants. This is especially true of finding high quality applicants who will maintain your property as if it was their own. Here at SaltLakeCityPropertyManager.com we use a lot of different tools to find tenants, but because we are more experienced and work harder than 99% of the other Property Managers in Utah we have been able to get nearly all of our properties rented within 30 days. There really is a three step process to finding the best possible tenants.

Advertising:
The first step to finding tenants has to deal with determining what type of advertising you would like to do to get the property rented. Typically you are not going to rent to the first person who calls on the property so you need to get your property advertised in the right spots. We have developed a very good mix of advertising that draws potential renters to your property. Below are a highlight of some of the measures that we take to ensure propery exposure of your rental:

Showing The Property
The next step after achieving full market exposure of the property is to show it to potential renters. This is what separates us from the rest of property managers. We are extremely expereienced in property management in Utah and realize the right questions to ask to get the potential renters interested in leasing the property. Another aspect of show ing the property is preparing it for the showing. On our initial meeting we will discuss what cleaning/maintenance and other items should be repaired/cleaned in order to achieve our goal of getting the property leased. After the tenants are interested then we present them with our rental application
Rental Application
Our rental application is a very thorough form which will allow us to gather all of the applicants pertinent information. The benefit to our application is that it is available both online and in a print form. We charge the tenants 25$to apply which includes a thorough credit and background check.
Qualifing the Tenants
Once the tenants have applied this is when our experience in the mortgage industry sets us apart from other property managers. We understand risk and underwriting criteria for mortgages and our apply to use this experience to determine who would make the best overall tenant.
